Tiger is the symbol of authority, luxury and royalty in Chinese astrology. He is the ”king” among the twelve Chinese zodiac signs, although the Chinese calendar starts with the Rat sign, Tiger is the one who rules the first month of the Chinese year.

Tiger belongs to wood element which makes him well-balanced, creative and gives him rich imagination. Chinese Tiger is equivalent to western lion, likes to be in the center, confident, creative and a great leader who inspires others.

He is a typical fighter. Cannot be broken by failure or difficult, almost impossible tasks. Obstacles makes him stronger and will never give up the fight for his principles and goals.

He has a wonderful charisma which attracts many admires, but this of course can cause resentments as well between those who are less successful. Tigers should be careful not to cause offence by taking on leading roles when these are not expected.
